Number Plate Extraction - 1345 Words

III. NUMBER PLATE EXTRACTION The captured input image has number plate covered by vehicle body, so by this step only number plate area is detected and extracted from whole body of vehicle. The number plate extraction phase influence the accuracy of ANPR system because all further step depend on the accurate extraction of number plate area. The input to this stage is vehicle image and output is a portion of image containing the exact number plate. Number plate can be distinguished by its features. Instead of processing every pixel, the system processes only the pixels that have these features. The features are derived from number plate format and the characters constituting the plate. Number plate color, rectangular shape of number plate boundary, the color change between the plate background and characters on it etc. can be used for detection and extraction of number plate area. The extraction of Indian number plate is difficult as compared to the foreign number plate because in India there is no standard follow ed for the aspect ratio of plate. This factor makes the detection and extraction of number plate very difficult. The various methods used for number plate extraction are as follows:- A. Number Plate Extraction using Boundary/Edge information Normally the number plate has a rectangular shape with aspect ratio, so number plate can be extracted by finding all possible rectangles from the input vehicle image. Various edge detection methods commonly used to find theseShow MoreRelatedThe Community of Microorganisms that Reside in the Epithelia of Humans1034 Words   |  5 PagesThere is a large number of species of microbes found on the human body. This bacterial organism are found in the skin, mouth, or nose. This lab consisted of the collection of skin bacterial organisms and amplification of the 16s rRNA to construct a small molecular phylogeny of the human body microbiome, or the community of microorganisms that reside in the epithelia of humans. This information could only be acquired through processes such as DNA extraction, amplification of specific genetic targetRead MoreAshitaba as an Alternative to Commercial Hand Sanitizer587 Words   |  3 Pages C. Media Preparation for Assay Three tubes with nutrient agar were prepared. The cultures were inoculated onto their respective media by placing 0.2ml of each. The inoculated agar was then poured to individual sterile plates. D. Extraction from Leaves The extraction was done through the use of a blender. Five leaves of the same size were placed in it. They were then crushed until the yellowish sap was produced. Preparation of a filter paper or cloth was the next step. Pour the extractRead MoreImprovement of Bacillus Amyloliquefaciens Strain for Enhancement of ÃŽ ±- Amylase Production1496 Words   |  6 Pagesconfiguration in the products. Bacillus amyloliquefaciens find potential application in a number of industrial processes such as in food, fermentation, textiles and paper industries [1]. Most of the a-amylases are metalloenzymes, which require calcium ions (Ca2+) for their activity, structural integrity and stability[2]. The enzymatic hydrolysis is preferred to acid hydrolysis in starch processing industry due to a number of advantages such as specificity of the reaction, stability of the generated productsRead MorePlate Recognition Essay897 Words   |  4 PagesTime Indian Standard High Security Number Plates Recognition and Detection System of Stolen Cars using RTOS 1Mukesh Singh Chandel, 2 Ms. Satya Verma 1M. Antioxidants are molecules that protect cells from the damage of free radicals by counteracting its effect. Free radicals are highly reactive groups of atoms with an unusual number of electrons. A reaction with cellular components is dangerous and the antioxidants prevent this from happening. The peel extracts also exhibit antibacterial activity. When there are a large number of samples for drug screening, immunoassay techniques are favoured as they are cheaper and faster. This is based on the principle of competitive binding. Drugs that may be present in the sample compete against their drug conjugate for binding sitesRead More#15 Synthesis of Ethyl Salicylate from Salicylic Acid1543 Words   |  7 Pagesaccordingly, say to 30 mL. 3. Add approximately 1/2 gram of boric acid catalyst that we use as a substitute for concentrated sulfuric acid in this particular esterification. 4. Place entire assembly on a hot plate and heat until the alcohol is boiling. A setting of around 3 on the hot plate can be tried and then adjusted up or down as needed. You may need to add more ice. Note: While the refluxing is taking place, you can work on Part B, in which the materials you have already made are characterizedRead MoreThe ALPR System : A License Plate Recognition System707 Words   |  3 PagesALPR systems go by the baseline structure mentioned above. In [6] a License Plate Recognition system is proposed which primarily uses a window search technique based on integrated horizontal and vertical projections for localization of the license plate from the input image. This localization technique gives a localization accuracy of 96.7%. Once localized, individual characters are extracted from the binarized license plate and fed to an Artificial Neural Network(ANN) for character recognition. TheRead MoreCan We Use Plant Extraction And Control Or Reduce Plasmid Gene Transfer?919 Words   |  4 Pagesâ€Å"Can we use plant extraction to control or reduce plasmid gene transfer?† Have enough food for feeding human around the world leads to the increase of domestic animal product requirement. Ways to gain a vast quantity of product is reducing and preventing factors that cause animal death. Disease is a main challenging problem for agriculturist or producer. To control a spread of disease, antibiotic synthesized from a living organism is chosen as a solution because of capability in preventing infectionRead MoreThin Layer Chromatography ( Tlc )1199 Words   |  5 Pagesthe plate are hexane and methyl tert-butyl ether (MTBE), as well as three mixtures of the two solutions (5% MTBE in hexane, 10% MTBE in hexane, and 30% MTBE in hexane). Hexane is a non-polar alkane that is used as a solvent for many different things and MTBE is a polar ether that is used as a fuel additive. In this experiment, five TLC plates were set up and ran in each of the five prepared solvents. There are four steps when performing TLC which include: spot (touch the capillary to the plate briefly
